Founded in 2022, BRABC is a self-funded live music organisation that thrives on the support of our dedicated audience. The journey began in a quiet corner of The Imperial Bar one Sunday afternoon in April 2022 whilst watching a very uneventful football match, when my mi d began to wander as to why other towns and city's had local rock/blues music festivals and events - couple of beers later (and after bending Paul McCann of The Imperials ear!) and the Bangor Rock and Blues Club was born, with the first gig featuring The Willie Byrne Band. Since then, the club has went from strength to strength with the upstairs lounge being transformed into a proper venue with a stage and a very fortuitous meeting with a guy called John Maguire who has helped give the bands some of the best sound they've ever had.

However, it has only worked because of the generosity of Paul at the Imperial, the volunteers who keep it running and most importantly. those who come and return to support the club and to you the club will always be eternally grateful.
